Please ensure you have read and agreed to our terms and conditions below.

1. CHECK IN
Check in is any time from 3.30pm onwards on the day of your arrival unless otherwise agreed or advised.

You will find your keys in a key safe located by the door to your cabin – and we will email you the code at least 24 hours before you are due to arrive, so you’ll be able to simply let yourself in when you arrive, and make yourself at home!

2. CHECK OUT
Check out is by 10am unless otherwise agreed or advised.
Please return your key to the key safe and leave the cabin clean and tidy as you found it. Once the cabin has been checked and all okay, we will refund your security deposit to your card. We have tight turnaround times so late checkouts may be subject to a £50 charge taken from security deposit, unless previously agreed with us.

3. BOOKINGS & PAYMENT
Lydcott Glamping only handles bookings from persons over 18 years of age. We reserve the right at all times to refuse a booking.

The rates for each cabin are based on occupancy of 2 people. In our larger cabins, ‘The Pasty’, ‘The Pilchard’, ‘Jam First’, ‘Clotted Cream’, ‘Dreckly’ and ‘Proper Job’ there is a surcharge of £10 per night per additional person in order to cover overhead costs associated with additional occupants, including additional bedding and towels, utilities, cleaning etc.

We have a minimum booking policy of 2 nights. This is just so that we can manage turnaround times for bookings, cover overheads and ensure everything is perfect for every guest.

Bookings can be made online and the rental contract including the regulations regarding cancellation are applicable as soon as payment has been received. Lydcott Glamping Ltd will confirm the booking via e-mail at the time of booking. Please check your confirmation email to ensure all is correct, and let us know if there are any errors or amendments to be made. If you haven’t received your confirmation email, (and have checked it hasn’t gone into a junk folder!), then please get in touch with Lydcott Glamping Ltd and we’d be happy to resend it to you.

Lydcott Glamping reserves the right to rebook a competition winner: Lydcott Glamping will offer an alternative date for the re-booking, but the competition winner will not be entitled to any compensation.

When booking online, you will pay the price of your stay plus a £100 security deposit, which will be refundable when you checkout. (See ‘security deposit’ below)

4. SECURITY DEPOSIT
Guests will be required to pay a security deposit of £100 per cabin at the time of booking, in addition to the accommodation price. This deposit will be refunded in full at the end of your stay unless, in the opinion of the site owners, you have displayed unreasonable behaviour (this includes but is not limited to, wilful damage to the site or other people’s property and abuse of our staff, or excessive noise.)

We have tight turnaround times so late checkouts may be subject to a £50 charge taken from security deposit, unless previously agreed with us.

Cabins left in an unacceptable condition may also be subject to a £50 additional cleaning fee. (see ‘cleaning’ below)

We hope you understand that this is a peaceful spot, and it is important for our neighbours and other guests that the peace and the magic of the site is maintained.

Any wilful damage to the cabins, contents or grounds we will regrettably need to deduct the cost of repairs or replacements from your security deposit.

5. CLEANING
Guests are required to clean their cabin before departure, and are expected to leave them in the condition they found them on arrival.

Dishes washed, dried and put away and bed linen stripped and placed on top of the bed please. Toilets and shower should be clean and as you found them. Floors should be swept, bins emptied and rubbish removed from site. Dustbins will be provided near the car parking area for disposal of any waste. Please ensure any recycling is in the appropriate bins.

Basic cleaning products and equipment are provided.

If you leave your cabin in an improper condition, you will regrettably be liable for an additional fee of £50 which will be taken from your security deposit.

6. COST OF LOSS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT
Please be respectful to all equipment. Guests are liable for any costs incurred due to loss of or damage to equipment or the cabins themselves. Guests will be charged for the cost of repair or replacement of damaged items, post stay.

Following guest departure all equipment (including the cabin itself) will be checked and examined and any damages incurred will be charged to the person responsible for booking the stay. Failure to make payment will result in further action taken.

Instructions are provided in the welcome pack within the cabin – please ensure you read these as they contain information regarding care and use of the cabin equipment.

7. NUISANCE
Please be respectful to other guests on the site. Guests who are deemed to be causing a nuisance or excessive noise can be be liable for loss of deposit money and/or ejected from the site.

8. DOGS

We love animals, but if you would like to bring your dog, please contact us before booking, as our cabins are not suitable for all types of dog. A maximum of one well behaved dog is permitted in our larger cabins (all except ‘Prosecco’) – so long as you can guarantee they won’t chew or scratch – and that they will sleep in their own bed – not on yours! We hope you understand that this is in the interests of future guests also.

As we are situated next to a working farm, dogs must be kept under control and on a lead or tether at all times during your stay. Lydcott Glamping will provide a tether if you have booked and paid to bring your dog. Dogs must sleep on the floor and must not be allowed on the beds or furniture.

You must book your dog at the time of booking your stay. There is a surcharge of £20 applicable per dog. If you fail to advise us that you are bringing your dog we reserve the right to apply this charge.

Dog owners are responsible for ensuring that any dog fouling is picked up immediately and disposed of in the site wheelie bin. Please do not dispose of dog mess in the cabin bins.

Dogs should not be left alone in cabins at any time.

Any damage caused by your dog either to the cabin, it’s contents, or to any part of Lydcott Glamping site or property will be chargeable to the person responsible for booking the stay.

We do not permit any dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 as they are illegal. If you have one of these banned breeds and it is registered on the ‘Index of Exempted Dogs’ we will allow it only outside of peak school holiday weeks (25th March – 25th April, 20th May – 3rd June, 15 July – 5th September). We will require a copy of your exemption certificate and a copy of your third party liability insurance certificate via email, and prior to permitting your dog on site. Failure to provide this upon request will result in cancellation of your stay. Your exempted dog must remain muzzled and on a lead at all times while outside your cabin on our property (as is the legal requirement in a public space). While we understand these rules and restrictions may be frustrating if you are an owner of an exempted dog, we believe this is a reasonable compromise rather than an outright ban like many other accommodation providers. We also believe this will enable us to provide the safest environment for you and your pet.

9. FACILITIES
Fire Pit / Barbecue –
If using your fire pit / barbecue during your stay, please adhere to fire safety. Do not move the firepit onto your decking. Do not overload the fire pit or ignite any fire near the decking or cabin itself. Any damage caused by misuse will be chargeable. For avoidance of doubt, the Jenga game is not firewood!

14. COMPLAINTS
We truly hope that your stay with us will be exceptional. We welcome all feedback, so that we can ensure that we continually improve the experience we are offering to our guests.

We accept that you have a genuine complaint. We ask that you let us know immediately if there is anything that you are not 100% happy with, in order to allow us to solve the matter as soon as possible. Should the matter not be settled to your satisfaction, then you have the option, up to 1 month after departure from Lydcott Glamping to advise us of your complaint in writing or by email to Lydcott Glamping Ltd.
