If you’re holidaying with friends
Glamping is such a great holiday when you’re away with friends or extended family as you all have your own space but can come together for meals and days out, and sharing time around the firepit into the evenings.
Jam First and Clotted Cream cabin are great for this as they are side by side and share a huge decked area at the front – but really all of our cabins have plenty of outside private space to host friends from another cabin, so whichever cabins you choose you wont be far away.
Romantic glamping getaway?
If you’re looking for a special romantic getaway, then you’ll love our gorgeous Dreckly cabin, with it’s beautiful secret garden, now boasting an outdoor hot & cold plunge tub. Big enough for 2 people to soak with a glass of fizz surrounded by nature.
Glamping with the kids
In summer it’s always lovely to see all the kids from different cabins grouping together for adventures around the glamping field, playing swingball or a kickabout on the football pitch, feeding the chickens together or taking turns on the tree swing and rope ladders by Proper Job cabin. It’s amazing how quickly they all find each other, even overcoming language barriers (they never had google translate in my day, but it’s genius in these situations!) – and by the time a family has to say goodbye there are often addresses or emails exchanged and sometimes the odd tear or two.
The lovely thing is though that many families return to Lydcott each summer and often the kids can reunite again for more adventures.
Because the kids can be off playing together but also be completely safe and within sight, it means the adults really do get a chance to relax as well.
