For the full Lydcott Glamping experience, we’ve put together some little extras for your stay!
Just add to your booking when you checkout.
All the products in our hampers are grown, reared and produced in the local area, and we work closely with our neighboring farms to offer you the very best of truly Cornish produce.
Bread and scones are baked fresh for your arrival – and may even still be warm when you arrive if you’re lucky. (We do try to time it so that this is the case!)

We absolutely LOVE dogs (and have 4 gorgeous labradoodles of our own) – so we welcome a well behaved dog in any of our cabins, apart from Prosecco cabin – simply due to space.
Just add your pooch to your booking when you checkout and we’ll look forward to welcoming them as an additional VIP!
If you’re celebrating a special occasion while you’re here, we would be delighted to decorate your cabin for your arrival – just add the celebration pack when you book online, and drop us an email to let us know any specific details – ie whether it’s a birthday / anniversary or something else you’re celebrating.
Whatever we can do to make things extra special, we’re here for you!
If you are planning something extra special, (like a proposal for example!) then do get in touch, as we would be delighted to work with you to ensure all the perfect little touches are in place for you.
(Please note we no longer use balloons as we want to do our bit to look after the planet – and even the biodegradable ones aren’t a favourable option for the environment.)
Here at Lydcott Glamping we are very lucky to be close to Bodmin Moor, the first International Dark Sky Place designation in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Not only do we have the beautiful open skies here with no light pollution nearby, but we also have peace and quiet in our gorgeous rural spot, with stunning views across the fields and to the sea.
We now have a telescope available to hire during your stay – just add it to your booking when you book online.
Please note that we currently only have 1 telescope available so is available on a first come first served basis.
Wellness Retreats
We’re delighted to have partnered with some amazing wellness specialists to offer you the opportunity to reset your mind and body here at Lydcott Glamping.
We’re super excited to say that we now have our very own smart EV charger to provide a much- needed convenience and service to our guests.
Our charging point is powered by VoltShare and is compatible with all electric cars.
EV drivers looking to visit us now never need to worry about running out of charge or stopping over at in-transit rapid charging points before arrival; no more range anxiety!
We are excited to be part of the zero-emission revolution, promoting clean transport and healthier skies. As part of their commitment, VoltShare also recaptures 2000-3000kg of CO2 for each charging point installed.
The charge point is untethered with a maximum power output of 7kW.
How to charge in 5 simple steps
- Download the VoltShare app for iphone or for Android
- Connect your EV & Scan the QR code on the charging point
- Enter your payment card in the VoltShare app
- Start charging
- Unplug your EV to end the session, or if full VoltShare will send you an e-receipt to advise that the session is complete.
Our gift vouchers make the perfect present, and you can buy any amount from £15 upwards, and email it either directly to the lucky recipient or email to yourself to print out and give to them in person.
You can even schedule for it to be sent to the lucky receipient on a specific date and time so you need never forget a birthday or special occasion again!
