Spring, Autumn and Winter at Lydcott Glamping

Because our cabins are fully heated and really well insulated, we’re open all year round – and there are always plenty of things happening in the local area in Spring, Autumn and Winter – from markets, guided walks, rockpool rambles, to marine conservation events and lots more.

Christmas and New Year are absolutely magical – read our Christmas at Lydcott Glamping post to see why.

Or click below to see local events by month – these are updated regularly so worth checking back, or subscribing to the events calendar for updates.

We would love to welcome you and hope to see you soon,

Emma and Rich and family (and dogs and chickens) x

Here at Lydcott Glamping we are very lucky to be close to Bodmin Moor, the first International Dark Sky Place designation in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Not only do we have the beautiful open skies here with no light pollution nearby, but we also have peace and quiet in our gorgeous rural spot, with stunning views across the fields and to the sea.

Star-gazing opportunities are at their best in the darker spring, autumn and winter months – so we’d love to invite you to come and experience our little slice of paradise when the stargazing opportunities are at their very best

We recognise that the cost of living crisis is putting the squeezers on everyone at the moment, so we’ve tried to make it a little easier to fit in a break.

That’s why we’ve changed the way you can book with us.

  • You can now book online with just 50% payment, and balance due 30 days before your arrival date.

  • We’ve also not increased our prices from last year (even though things are so much more expensive!) and you can currently book for next year at this year’s prices too.

We hope this makes things a little easier in these difficult times, and we can’t wait to welcome you.

We’re looking at other ways we can tempt people to come and stay with us in Spring, Autumn and Winter.

If you have a moment (literally about 15 seconds!) then we’d be super grateful if you could answer our very quick survey.

Thanks so much! x
